KutterTerms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Hello World Solution Co., Ltd. ("the Company" or "we") for your use of Kutter. By installing, using or signing in to Kutter you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. This English version is a translation; if it differs from the Thai version, the Thai version prevails.
1. The service
Kutter is a desktop app (Windows and macOS) that helps you transcribe, plan and edit video clips with AI. Your footage and project files stay on your computer and editing happens there. AI tasks (such as writing scripts, planning stories, transcription, voice-over and finding B-roll) run through the providers you choose, and the app sends only the data each task needs.
AI output (such as transcripts, scripts, cuts, post captions, voice-overs and translations) is generated automatically and may be wrong or incomplete. Always check it before you publish.
2. Accounts
- You can use Kutter with your own API keys, or with Claude Code / Codex on your computer, without an account with us.
- Hello AI (once available) requires signing in with Google, using the same account as Hello Translator. One account is for one person, and you are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Fees
- Kutter is free to use during launch.
- If you use your own API key, the provider's charges (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, ElevenLabs) are yours and are paid directly to that provider. Claude Code or Codex use the quota of your own plan with that provider.
- If paid plans or Hello AI coin purchases are introduced, we will show prices and terms in the app before charging anything, and we will not charge retroactively for use during the free period.
4. Hello AI coins
This section applies once Hello AI is available in Kutter.
- Coins are units for using Hello World Solution's AI services. They are shown with a baht equivalent (1 coin = ฿0.01) for clarity but are not money, have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and cannot be transferred, sold or given to another account.
- Each AI task deducts coins based on actual usage. The app shows an estimated cost before tasks that use many coins and never deducts more than your balance.
- Kutter's free monthly coins expire at the end of each month and do not roll over. Which coins can be used, the order they are used in, and their expiry follow what the app shows at the time of use.
- Coins that expire, or that remain when an account is deleted or suspended under section 10, are not refunded as money or coins.
5. Refunds
Once a plan or coins have been purchased, they are not refundable; the app asks you to acknowledge this before every payment. Exceptions, for which we will refund or compensate in coins as agreed with you:
- You were charged twice for the same purchase.
- Payment succeeded but the plan or coins were not granted because of an error on our side.
Contact support@helloworld-solution.com within 30 days of payment with your account email and proof of payment. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer protection law.
6. AI sources and third-party services
- Your API keys: stored in your computer's keychain (Windows Credential Manager / macOS Keychain) and never sent to the Company. Their use is also subject to that provider's terms.
- Claude Code / Codex on your computer (experimental): the app calls programs you installed and signed in to yourself, using your plan's quota. Providers may change or limit this kind of use, and the Company never sees your login.
- Hello AI: data an AI task needs is passed through our servers to the AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.
- On-device Whisper transcription: your audio does not leave your computer.
- B-roll from Pexels and music / sounds from Openverse are licensed by their creators. The app shows the licence and prepares credits; you are responsible for crediting and using them according to that licence.
7. Your content
- The footage, audio and clips you create with Kutter are yours. The Company claims no rights in your work and does not use your footage to train AI.
- Project files are stored on your computer and the Company does not back them up. Deleting a project in the app permanently deletes the files the app created (your original files are not touched).
- You are responsible for having the rights to everything you put in a clip: images, audio, music, logos, fonts and the people who appear in it.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Kutter to:
- Create voice-overs or content that impersonate someone without their consent, or that are intended to mislead.
- Create or distribute content that is illegal, infringes copyright, is defamatory or invades someone's privacy.
- Download or import videos from links you have no right to use.
- Reverse-engineer, modify or bypass licence checks, coin metering or the Hello AI relay; create multiple accounts to claim free coins repeatedly; send abnormal volumes of requests; or do anything that harms the system or other users.
9. Software, updates and open-source components
The Kutter and Hello World Solution software, names, logos and mascot belong to the Company. The Company grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app under these terms. Open-source components shipped with the app or downloaded later (such as ffmpeg, whisper.cpp, the background-removal model and yt-dlp) are under their own licences, which take precedence over these terms for those components.
The app checks our servers for new versions and installs one only when you choose to update.
10. Suspension and limitation of liability
- We may suspend or close a Hello AI account that breaches section 8, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
- We work to keep the app and services running well, but they are provided as is and may be interrupted by maintenance, third-party providers or events beyond our control.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for damage arising from content you publish, lost project files, or charges from AI providers you chose yourself, and the Company's total liability is limited to the amount you paid the Company in the 3 months before the event. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The latest version is on this page with its effective date. For material changes we will notify you in the app in advance. Continuing to use Kutter after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Thai law and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Thai courts. If the Thai and English versions differ, the Thai version prevails.
